The Italian virtual community (IVC)


- Goals: to list, coordinate, expand online resources in the Italian
language and their use. 

- Targets:

a. Italians with Internet access (IA)

b. Professors and students of Italian at institutions outside Italy, with
IA

c. Professors and Students in the humanities or interested in the field,
at
Italian institutions, and with IA

d. Anybody with IA and interested in using the Italian language

- Tools:

a. Gopher server on IVC at the University of Utah, "open system" (anybody
can post information), I will be the Editor

b. Gopher or Mosaic clients at the U of U and elsewhere

c. "Virtual"  (Italian hardbound magazine), 1. advertising 2. newspapers
